Alan Baxter, Director of Coaching - Tennis Coach of the Year

 

Alan Baxter the Director of Coaching of the Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation, has been selected as the tennis coach of the year for Staffordshire and has been invited to the President's lunch at Wimbledon on July 9th and to attend the Women’s final.

Alan is a Level 3 tennis coach and has received this award for his tennis coaching with S.E.N young people and for his LTA work with children on behalf of the Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation.

 

Alan is a Senior Tutor at Regent Special College where he helps to develop the learners with all sports and physical activities.

 

As the Director of Coaching of the Foundation, he develops young people with the values of Sir Stan. He is a UEFA B Football coach who continues to give free coaching for many youngsters and is coaching coaches who have progressed to form junior clubs around Stoke on Trent.
