ANTHONY JEFFERY - Burton Albion Community Sports Coach

 

Well done to Anthony Jeffery on completing his FA Level 2 Football Coaching qualification. Anthony has successfully taken the next step in his coaching career, with support from the Foundation.

 

Anthony commented, "The FA Level 2 course was one of the best coaching courses I have been on. My knowledge of what the England DNA is, the principles of play, technical knowledge, and how to link the 4 corner model were just some areas my knowledge has improved in. I found my confidence grew with every session I delivered - both on the course and away, as part of the 8 sessions I had to deliver."

 

Anthony will begin his training as a Primary Teacher with his long-term focus on specialising in Physical Education. "My aim is to become the PE lead in a school where I can run and train the different teams (especially football) and provide the pupils with as many opportunities to try something new."

 

We look forward to seeing how Anthony's career progresses as he seeks to provide more young people with access to sport.
